Finally a fully automated unattended wool collection machine is possible! Quick proof of concept Components: Skeleton in a 1x1x2 completely enclosed space. One block in front removed for vision, one block above that removed so arrows can fly out. At the beginning of the video I draw a square showing the block from which the arrows will come from. As long as the block is hidden behind the bouncy sand you should be fine. In a real game scenario, you can use a skeleton spawner and have the skeleton washed into the 1x2x2 space. Make sure you are able to close off the room so that additional skeletons don't all crowd together and shoot each other. Sheep input: From wherever. Make your own passive mob farm and add this near the end to get wool too. Quicksand: switches quickly from block to entity: Arrows attach themselves to it in block mode and then fall off away from the block onto the sheep. NOTE: The position of the sand block is vital to ensure that arrows will not fall off and hit the boat. Improvements: Move player back and a bit lower so that the item stream is at the same level Make sheep stop jumping so much so that all the wool drops into the water (or lower water level) Add safeguards against other types of animals that might drop in. Most importantly you have to make sure that the animals don't bump the boat. I would love to see what you guys can make with this. Remember: this is only a PROOF OF CONCEPT so it is not perfect and only serves to help you connect ...
